SUE HALLIDAY

Having started her education by gaining a Diploma in Graphic Design in 1972, in 1983 Sue went on to attain a First in Psychology from the University of Manchester, after which she persued a career in that discipline.

In 1998 Sue Halliday moved to Cornwall and returned to her artistic roots, studying for her BA in FineArt at Falmouth College of Art, since when she has devoted her time to painting and running her gallery in St. Ives.  She says of herself: 

'My work until recently has focused on the body, drawing heavilly on my psychology background.  My current work is based on the landscape of West Penwith, Cornwall.  I am particularly interested in the links between the body and the physicality of the landscape.'

Sue has exhibited widely in Cornwall and also in London and New York.
